The Future of Peritoneal Dialysis and Kidney Care

Our goal is to revolutionize chronic kidney disease care and treatment. Our solution is not just an incremental improvement; it’s a step into the future of personalized dialysis and kidney care, delivering transformative benefits for patients and healthcare providers alike.

Kiwecare smart monitoring device provides personalized, accurate and efficient peritoneal dialysis treatment assessment, saving patient’s time and healthcare resources.

Meet Kiwecare, an innovative Finnish med-tech start-up driven by the expertise and dedication of our CEO and Founder, Pirgit Silvast-Äikäs. During 15 years working with peritoneal dialysis patients, Pirgit has realized that the current way to evaluate peritoneal function is time-consuming both for patients and medical professionals, intense to manual work, and prone to errors. Practice has shown that peritoneal function assessment fails often, which is a waste of patient’s time and healthcare resources. This was an impulse to invent a unique smart monitoring device.
