Smart PD Solutions Oy to advance innovation in peritoneal dialysis care

Smart PD Solutions Oy has entered into a know-how agreement with Mayo Clinic to license certain for the development of technologies designed to improve peritoneal dialysis (PD) monitoring and infection detection.
The collaboration focuses on integrating Mayo Clinic’s scientific and clinical know-how with Smart PD Solutions’ proprietary sensor and AI platform. The aim is to develop advanced tools that could support earlier detection of peritonitis and more effective therapy monitoring, helping clinicians deliver safer and more individualized dialysis treatment.
